WAIT STAFF

JOB DESCRIPTION

We’re looking for an experienced, friendly, knowledgeable, service-oriented waitress/waiter with a passion for hospitality and the craft industry to join our team. We want people with a positive attitude, who will take pride and ownership in consistently providing our guests with a delightful craft culinary experience. You’ll work in a team- oriented, fast-paced, guest-centric environment to provide an outstanding guest experience by:

  •  Demonstrating genuine hospitality while greeting and establishing rapport with our guests
  •  Guiding guests through menus while demonstrating thorough knowledge of the food, beverages and ingredients
  • Taking accurate orders and partnering with team members to serve food and beverages that meet or exceed guests’ expectations
  • Providing friendly and attentive service that makes guests feel well taken care of and builds their intent to return!

FOOD PREP / SANDWICH MAKER

JOB DESCRIPTION

We’re looking for an experienced, friendly, knowledgeable, service-oriented food prep/sandwich maker with a passion for hospitality and the craft industry to join our team. We want people with a positive attitude who will take pride and ownership in consistently providing our guests with a delightful craft beverage and food experience. Kurant Taproom serves cold specialty sandwiches and provides organic and/or farm local fresh sandwich options.

FOOD PREP / SANDWICH MAKER SHIFTS AVAILABLE:

Monday - Closed
Tuesday - Closed
Wednesday- Thursday 3pm- 10pm
Friday- 3pm— 10pm (bar closes at 12am)
Saturday - 11am- 5pm
Saturday - 4pm- 10pm (bar closes at 12am)
Sunday 11am- 5pm
Sunday 5pm- 9pm (bar closes at 9pm)
Setup and Breakdown expected with shifts.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Deli meat slicing, food prep work, preparing sandwiches, cleaning equipment, some restocking and lifting (50lbs+).
  • Must be able to use knife
  • Team member should have some food service experience and experience in Deli meat slicing with sandwich preparation experience. Organized and works well with other team members.
  • Able to take direction from Floor Leader and Shift leaders and able to interact with customers
  • Be part of a great team of crew members for a growing company

Experience:

  • Food prep and kitchen experience (required)
  • Deli prep and operational knowledge a plus (not required)

Education:

  • High school or equivalent (Required)

License or certification:

  • Food Handler (Required)

BARTENDER

We want people with a positive attitude, who will take pride and ownership in consistently providing our guests with a delightful craft bar experience. Kurant Taproom serves our own Ciders, local craft beer, local craft wine, and local spirits ( cocktails ). You’ll work in a team-oriented, fast-paced, guest-centric environment to provide an outstanding guest experience by:

  • Guiding guests through menus while demonstrating thorough knowledge of the food, beverages, and ingredients

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Guiding guests through craft drink and food menu selections to customize and enhance their dining experience
  • Ability to learn and operate our POS system (Square)
  • Maintaining drink standards and consistency through high volume service
  • Consistently keeping work areas cleanly and in compliance with sanitation requirements
  • Maintaining stocked inventory is a limited space
  • Communicating with management team
  • Adhering to company rules and regulations
  • Must be willing to work as a team even outside of your position’s responsibilities (ie. server, answering phone, bussing tables, running food, etc during Low volume shifts)

Our ideal candidate will bring the following qualifications:

  • 2 years experience as a bartender
  • Strong work ethic and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Passion for great craft drinks and foods

  • Timely and responsible
  • Willing to work as a team even outside of your position’s responsibilities
  • Part-time and full-time availability
  • Must be able to lift 30lbs (move kegs around)
